Financial Crime
Welcome to the Financial Crime module
This comprehensive course provides learners with the essential knowledge and skills to identify, prevent, and respond to financial crime within FCA-regulated environments. Exploring key areas such as fraud, money laundering, bribery and corruption, insider dealing, and market abuse, the course equips participants with a clear understanding of regulatory expectations under the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Learners will gain insight into the legal and regulatory framework underpinning financial crime compliance, including the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, the Bribery Act 2010, and the FCA Handbook rules (SYSC and COCON). Through case studies and practical examples, participants will understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining effective internal controls, reporting suspicious activities, and fostering a culture of compliance.
